Written for Poetic Asides.

I love this!
Thanks, Steve. So great to see you here.
from sentiment to structure, this is the type of poem I love but rarely see, excellent, ms de!
Thanks, Buddah my Bruddah. Appreciate the love!
I think I read this last night and didn’t have the energy to comment. But I loved it then, and still do.
I dig what you did with the title, and here are some of my favorite lines/sections:
“The world needs more silly” I agree.
I like that you added space between “more” and “space.”
“more spice, more nice / less hand-held device”
“coffee with friends / and rum / -inating on the nature / of human / (and nature.)”
Stanza 3
Well, you get the idea. I loved it.
Oh yeah, and this:
“let’s paint / with sand / and sun / -kissed land / and wave / all we are to the breeze.” Minus the sand, of course.
You and your sand phobia. Have you met nice sand? Or only gritty yucky stuff? We need to reform you.
Oh YES! Let’s do all of that — and then some! Love this, De!
