Metamorphosis

Her spring
has sprung
and she’s looking for something new.

This fling
has flung
her precarious petals far and few.

Something
has stung
her honeyed heart to the very core.

These wings
unwrung
she unfolds, and flies out the door.

Such beauty in these moments, De! I had a very sweet encounter with one today. ❤

You are so creative with your words, imagery, and visual presentation. I never know what I’m gonna get when I read your poems, but I know they’ll have a bit of a kick swirled in with the fruit juice and ice.

Use your words.
