  1. Laurie Kolp says:

These are so hard… you did great with it… and I love the sea, too.

  2. Okay, I was going to say — you did a palindrome poem! (and then I saw that it says up there that’s what this is). Wow, I say. You are good. And you even managed a symmetrical shape. You “shore” are talented 🙂 And I assume from the title that you are talking about a stone, tossed about by the waves, just waiting and waiting for the next one – up and back, up and back!

  3. Anita says:

    Really creative 🙂

  4. Dee, you are too talented. I protest. No one should be allowed do be whimsical, form-fitting, palindromic, romantic, scathingly realistic, and strong all at the same time. It’s not fair to the rest of us!

Truly, this is a dreamfest of a poem, and the shaping of it (another of your strong suits) is lovely, too. Good on you, and thanks for stopping by my blog! Amy

  5. Utterly brilliant! Loved what you did with this. The sea is so beautiful and such a great thing to inspire. ♥

  6. This is beautiful and pretty much how I’m feeling after hearing the Trifecta news: adrift and waiting for shore.
