She dances up most nights,
…………………….sometimes a slender curl,
others fat and sassy.
Have you felt her touch,
her borrowed light on your
……………………….hungry skin?
She’s got a darker side.
………………I haven’t been, but I
imagine it’s a fine place
………………………………..to hide.

This one won a Top Row Seven spot! 🙂
I like the rhythm in this piece as well as the staggered lines. You seem to have made her dance through the words. Beautiful!

Smile, it makes (y)our day!
The moon never sounded so sensual.. The descriptions were so lovely.
Heavenly… 🙂
“Fat and sassy” – I wouldn’t mind being described that way.
Beautiful! I like the last stanza about the dark side of the moon.
I love this!! Beautiful
A great take on the prompt.
Loved the way you set it out.
Love the “borrowed light.” Great clues throughout and wonderful rhythm.
very nice!
“your hungry skin” was my favorite part. Once again, very clever!
Very creative! You packed such great details about the moon in such a short piece.
Love this! “her borrowed light on your ….hungry skin” — perfect! Her darker side would indeed be a great place to hide! 🙂
This is so gorgeous, from the format to the word choices. I am in love with the moon. I always have been, and next it is full? I will think of it as “fat and sassy”. Love this!
Beautiful.
