’Mornin’

Pop the toast right down,
bend the paper still
……….and
……howl a little
……at that melting moon.

I’ve missed commenting, because every day you made me look forward to words. Thank you for that.

  2. “melting moon” – what a great description!

“bend the paper still” … I love the notion of bending paper into stillness. It makes me think of the scripture that says “Be still and know that I am GOD.” Here, in this stand-alone line, I’m picturing you as the paper He is folding and writing on. But He’s pausing to tell you not to move, just to trust that He is shaping you into perfection (despite your wiggles, squirms, and protests).
