…..
It’s been some time since anyone called me
bookish,
…………………..but somehow
I currently have four books going
(and a waiting stack besides):
……………………..one in my car, to read during pickups
one by my bed
………………………….one by the tub
one on the elliptical.
…………………The one in my car can be anything good
for reading in small time slots while waiting
…………………for the kids.
The one by my bed needs to be engaging
………………..enough to enjoy at night, but not keep me
up all night finishing the sucker. (Right now
……………….a big ol’ Faulkner compilation is sitting there,
……………………..waiting to be begun,
because I like him,
……………….but he intimidates me.)
The one by the tub has to be a paperback, and
not from the library
……………………..(for obvious reasons.)
The one on the elliptical must be heavy enough
…………………………….to not fall off half a billion times, and light enough
in content to hold my interest while sweating my
…………………….arse off.
(To be perfectly honest, this one often gets replaced
……………………….by an iPad and Netflix. I’m currently on Season 2 of
………..Life.)
(What do you mean there is no Season 3?
…………………………….How can that be?)
Four books. Huh.
Guess I’ve just always been
……………………………………………happy
……………when my nose is in a
book
……………………………………………… (ish).
…..
Bibliophile. Awesome title. 🙂
Well, it seems bookish is not enough. You know, sort of. Bibliophile indeed!
I, too, am intimidated by Faulkner and admire that you are taking him on!
