Starlings on the wing are fine. Settled in–not so much.

The idea for survival ought to call for a change of strategy. They must muster their strengths! Good lines Whimsy!

Thank you, both. I feel like this got rushed, and flew off on its own. I desperately wanted to play around with the “bird group” names murmuration, murder, muster and siege…but didn’t have the time I wanted. I will come back to this one, soon, I hope.
Love what you did with the hyphens to put emphasis on certain syllables, making us read it exactly how you wanted us to. And I ♥ star-lings.
Those starlings will devour the feed – all at once! Murder the birdfeeders is what they do! They are a wonderful sight, however, just to watch when they fly together. If they would just pass by!
without using the word murder, this reminded me of my sons. How they are cahoots quite often to light up the night with sound, rumbles, voices.
I loved this for precisely that reason.
