Poem Found by the Side of the Road

(an Ovillejo)

This poem is broken
……….(here unspoken)
down and drowned,
……….things left ’round
their own square pegs. Don’t play;
……….just stay.
It’s choking, held at bay.
It’s gone all pensive
and defensive.
……….Here unspoken, things left ’round just stay.

    That was lyrical, like you could jump rope to it.

    You are rocking the wordplay and wisdom here. Round, square, unspoken things stay round, that is for shore. Thank you for all the love you showered on me and my poems. 😃💜

  3. 🙂 I agree, your wordplay is great! I esp. love the title!

    Ooh, I like this form! Cool.
