Poison Apple

It starts from a seed, then
how far does it fall? Let it

lie; take a bite and let it cast
its spell, or watch it rot in this

sinking sun’s cold crimson bend.
Sometimes there’s very little

difference, really, between the
once upon a time and the end.

Wow. What an ending! I love this phraseology: “watch it rot in this sinking sun’s cold crimson bend”

  2. How far indeed, does it fall? And I agree, that ending packs quite a punch!
