full disclosure

murmur me something
i can use, love, some small
song worth saving. whisp

-er it in my ear, all long and
low and slow-spilled savor.
flavor it with kisses and

this fine pine breeze, a
hint of salt and sage. un
-page our most hollow hush

-ed wishes, pin them to the
sky. i will silver-sliver their
linings, soft-spun and won

over by a fragile moon. shhh,
see how she keeps us? steeps
us in midnight and wonder?

come, stroll with me under
our own sparked stars, scar
the sky with breath, and sigh.

Dreamy and beautiful and ever hopeful.

  2. Shawna says:

    I love this:
    -page our most hollow hush”

“Hollow” is so close to “hallowed,” yet so very different in meaning.

  3. billgncs says:

very sensual – as things that start with a whisp-er often can be – nice

  4. Very beautiful -I love the “whisp” and the idea that we are steeped by the moon, made deeper and more flavorful!

  5. Vince Gotera says:

Love “silver-sliver” as a verb. As well as the echoes of “spar(ked) star(s) scar.” Beautiful.
