Keep these words under your hat.

where shelter and nature converge
when colors meet inspiration:
a day by the sea.

(However you get here, fly.)

Rock center.

I have played
taking for fall.

Bite. We were
a creek-kissed tree-
dabbled slice of
found objects

Summer twill, giant scarf
with flowy, floaty summer
sticks & stones toward the ocean alchemy.

Arts infinity.
to be true,
play is.

A second shake-up of the same words as the last pasty-poem
yielded this. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not so much.
This was for PoMoSco day 2, with Margo.

i love the feel of this one.

  2. whimsygizmo says:

I think the phrase “ocean alchemy” might have been worth it in and of itself. 😉

  3. “rock center” and of course I love the phrase – however you get here, fly. Funny how the same words can have a different feel just placed differently – of course that’s the whole point of poetry!
