Oh my, I love this so. Tank-a top! Are you kiddin’ me?! And an inky girl in a tank-a top? Well now, I think I’ll love her forever.
Ooh, so clever, the way you got “Eve” and “rye/wry” in the first line. Sand, stone, sandstone, AND stone her demons? Man, you got a lot out of your words and line breaks! Impressive.
I also like “raise her to the … spill,” … ink spill, that is.
Also, your last line might say, “She’ll find her own way here, loose.” I hope that’s a good thing! Or maybe you’re talking to Lucy, and you call her Luc for short. 😉
YES, YES, YES!
Tank-a top! I loved this pun. 😀 And, she will definitely find her way… the positive note makes it more beautiful… 🙂
This sounds like one for a muse – she does find her own way, that’s for sure!
Love the “tank-a top”!! And stoning demons with phrase is actually a very powerful message/visual–thanks!
This is brilliant! Love it, the whole piece every word XD
A delightful piece!
By the end, I wanted to be that girl.
Great play of words. Mia above has already said everything. A very clever write. Well detailed and great imagery. 🙂
