I couldn’t stop giggling and crying a little for the innocence and wonder of a day like this.
Again, your words made me feel..young, free, whimsical.

This is my favorite new holiday! 😉

  2. I think you and I inhaled too much helium when we were younger – smiles.
I love the Costco size servings and yes please let’s do it again tomorrow.
    Thanks for your visit!!!

I think you’ve written a wonderful holiday into the calendar. I love the pace and lyricalness of your poem, and the whimsical ideas contained to make people feel at ease. There could be the year of Olly Olly Oxen Free, where, as you say — again tomorrow.
Thanks so much for participating! I hope your holiday gets instituted real soon. I should could use one like that.

I heart this, big time. 🙂

    “today’s the day
you free your soul” Thank goodness. I will definitely get on it.

“in ocean blue, baptize our” … I don’t know if you did this on purpose or not, but this totally rewraps as “baptize our rhino cyan-blue.” Your poems RULE!

    “paint the town in indigo
and hot dark pink, think” … Like the “dark-pink think” is kinda sexy. 😉

I love “gleed hearts will croon.”

    “We’ll swoon for sky
and bubble bath.” Love this too.

But I really don’t get you folks who want to ignore all math. 😦

THIS IS MARVELOUS, DE–so full of life, spirit, joy, hope and love. You’re a Tonic.

  6. This goes hand-in-hand with your happy poem and makes me feel happy too! “they’re a whole lot like you” is the real truth – if only we’d give people a chance.

  7. This was a great holiday idea De, yes please lets do it all again tomorrow……my dad used to say his ideal job was one that gave him six months holiday twice a year and morning tea every twenty minutes….

Use your words.
