in quiet strokes,
the brushed-aside
ecru of foundations,
the corners and arches
that fall between genius.
The masterpiece of scaffold
-ing. The gentle royalty
……………..of crown

The backstage workers, the make-up artists, the grunt workers — who could achieve any success without those willing to tend to the details and a lot of time it’s work no on else wants to do.

LOL. That’s apparently what it’s called when I forget to put the title in. 😉
That molding captured me as well…I was deep in the web researching architectural language for a title and then somehow went to turpentine? I like your focus in this…especially the crown royalty… 🙂
I like the quiet respect for the infrastructure. Kudos!
This is stunning. It’s about spiritually crumbling, of course. The Passover, the fall, the inevitable destruction of genius. It’s far easier to be dim and Christ-centered than to be bright …. The most intelligent have the hardest time accepting and holding onto Christ, it seems.
Speaking of genius, you are one. This is absolute poetic perfection.
