the significance of blue

hue me
some indigo shade
some cobalt space
to spill my smile.

color me
saved by breeze
and wave and trees
and aquamarine breath.

still me
by these sacred
shores, this startling
more that soothes my soul.

chain me
deep and grace
this day, steeped
in softly slanted sleep.

  1. Love the blue font. And I love all the images – hue, color, still, chain. And “steeped in softly slanted sleep” — glad you are enjoying your time!

  2. Kir Piccini says:

“hue me” , sounds so sensual. I love all the blues.

  3. willow sloan says:

    Love that last stanza, especially.

  4. “still me
    by these sacred
    shores, this startling
    more that soothes my soul.”

Soft, breezy sounds like ripples on water. Beautiful!
