Now that is definitely something I’d like to see, that crazy moon just flying back and forth, swimming laps across the ocean sky. Gorgeous image.
HA! And she’s always up and down, back and forth with her figure. She needs the exercise 🙂
this was a rich lovely visual – I always thought of earth as a she, bountiful and providing – but the moon a harsh hard him.
Oh, no, Bill. The moon – Luna – is most definitely a gentle, reflecting “she.” (Hard as a rock, but pliable with light.) The sun, on the other hand: there’s your “harsh hard him.” 😉
Hi Dee – you’re right, the veil is lifted and I see. That was a brilliant poem – it totally captured me.
Happy to have set you straight, Sir. 😉 Thank you, always, for your kind comments.
I really love this one. 🙂
“Swim the sky” ..now that’s poetic. xo (Just loved this!)
