Aftermath

.

After math,
I needed a bath
to wash the hypotenuse
off of my skin.

When I looked in the mirror,
I realized there was still a little
alge
-bra
behind my left ear
(it grows there, if you’re not careful.)

There was also some trig
between my toes, and a natural log
-arithm in my nose.

So I scrubbed my surface area,
all of my digits, every slope
and curve. I even quintupled
the hygienic quotient
of my lower quadrant.

I’m not sure there’s a real
difference
in my demeanor,
…………but at least I’m exponentially cleaner.

Excellent poem. I showed it to my daughter who had some struggles with Advanced Functions which included Algebra. She thought it was wonderfully funny. Me too!

Great poem! I don’t understand math, therefore I hate it haha, but love what you’ve done with all those mathematical words! 🙂

This is exactly what it feels like.
