haiku for dVerse

waiting still for indigo

to unzip the clouds.

Be sure to head over to dVerse and see what Toni has to say about haiku. Very insightful, especially for those of us who struggle with it.

Just a timely and lovely haiku ~

  2. Lovely haiku. You really give a sense of impending winter weather, and the mood it creates.

  3. Shawna says:

This is exceptional haiku. And I don’t think it’s about weather at all.

I love how the sky waits for indigo. Perfect haiku in every sense of the word. It of course says much in the lovely subtle way haiku has. I’m feeling that way myself today, even though the sky is bright and blue.
