The Sensory Significance of Snow

..

Velour my tongue, infinity frost
my eyelashes. Crystallize this sky
with the ache of silence.

The world’s a sugar whirl
-wind, a quiet-spun un,

the sweetest flutter-spill of flake
and flight. Melt star tears against my
skin. Whisper me a shiver song,

every note its own
…………ivory limb.
