The Thin Man

The Thin Man

..

Here’s to a year
where we fly as often
as we fall. Where we all
get along, sing a song of
six pence, make sense
of the moon. Here’s to
swooning over silence,
consorting with clouds,
filling our hearts with
daisy chains and loose
change worth sprinkling
into fountains. Here’s to
mountain’s call and water
falls and spill of sea.

Here’s
my
heart.

I’m gonna wear it
on my sleeve, leave it
out for the breeze to
bother, bolster, be
-lieve. Drink deep.

Next round’s
………………….on me.

..
Visual and prompt poured over at Quickly’s Winter Doldrums. Happy New Year!
