(8 lines, 3 days, one grateful girl)
..
Here, hold my heart with outstretched hands –
east to west, my forgiveness found.
Take my troubles upon your crown.
You left this earth a fallen man,
a risen king, my hope to sing,
a given grace, where I might land.
I’ve gathered fear and laid it down.
Please, hold my heart in nail-scarred hands.

Victoria’s teaching us a new (to me) form over at dVerse. Come play!

My favourite poem this year. This one goes in my daybook. You are incredibly talented. I LOVE the way you play with words and then weave them into something absolutely precious! Sigh. Thank you. (And I want to purchase your book!!)
This is absolutely stunning, De! Captures ALL that Easter is so beautifully. He HAS risen! Easter blessings to you.
I wouldn’t have expected anything else from you! Your heart and faith sustain you and I am as blessed being your friend. Contemplative and heartfelt! Just like you!
