On the Rocks

..

With a twist of her tongue,
a tumble of frozen words,
she straight up spills
him her whole heart
 ……     (closing time)
its quiet stops and starts,
its shattered center stone.

Last call.

Later,
alone,
she finds her own
small world
more shaken
than stirred.

..
