A Tangle of Grace

The day wakes up all grumpy and torn
and the world’s at war with itself again

and we’re smear-smash-spreading hate
and debate and we wear our nationality

over (above) our human skin. But there’s
a fine cool kick in the air that says fall

might be here and falling is good when it’s
into Your arms and that sunrise, oh, that

crimson-stained sky, it says You will
always catch me.

Fabulous! My day woke up all grumpy and torn too…but good to have a Savior who loves us no matter what, and catches us when we fall…and your crimson sky reminds me off his sacrifice.

  3. Yes, yes and yes again. Most beautifully written and a wonderful reminder.
My world is presently all up-in-arms and in-your-face.
Good to know that those arms are there. Always. 🙂
