HeArt Confession

I am
afraid of my own dark
shadow heart. Afraid of the
ways it stops and starts and
stutters and strains to hear.
Tired. Of its tirades and tears.
Mired in the muck of its un
-stuck rusted out busted beat.

……..Love her. Rinse. Repeat.

A second offering for today’s Quadrille over at dVerse. Come play!

  13. Truedessa says:

The fragile heart is always at work…sometimes it does feel like it drags us through the muck. Someone told me once you must go in the muck, to appreciate the cleansing.
