tumble and spin

(a sevenling)



it’s whites day,
so she’s just whistlin’
and dancin’ and washin’ his skivvies.

there’s a quarter, a dime
and a lipsticked note lying
in the left front pocket of his jeans.

tomorrow: the blues.
