Manna {What is it?}

Apparently,
there was no food
in their food
for awhile there.
A couple of ingredients
shy of plastic.
P r e s e r v a t i v e s
galore. Fake this,
faux that. More
chemicals than the
plates it was all
served on. No wonder
they gave up the ghost,
after eating billions of
these.

Thank goodness a small
faction of us had the good
sense to go back to the
ground,
…….the sky
………………….the trees.

  1. Shawna says:

I’m sure it’s the headache, but “plate” turned into “Pilates” and “Saul” popped up at the end of that line. So now I’m picturing Saul doing Pilates. 😛

  2. Candy says:

    Oh yes, let’s go back!

  3. great culinary observation put to poetry – especially like the line stretch on P r e s e r v a t i v e s.
I go back to nature in the raw quite often 😉
