Apparently,
there was no food
in their food
for awhile there.
A couple of ingredients
shy of plastic.
P r e s e r v a t i v e s
galore. Fake this,
faux that. More
chemicals than the
plates it was all
served on. No wonder
they gave up the ghost,
after eating billions of
these.
Thank goodness a small
faction of us had the good
sense to go back to the
ground,
…….the sky
………………….the trees.

NaPoWriMo, day 26.
I’m sure it’s the headache, but “plate” turned into “Pilates” and “Saul” popped up at the end of that line. So now I’m picturing Saul doing Pilates. 😛
LOL! No wonder he had a thorn in his side!
Oh yes, let’s go back!
great culinary observation put to poetry – especially like the line stretch on P r e s e r v a t i v e s.
I go back to nature in the raw quite often 😉
