This is the first part of an exercise for Miz Quickly.
Later, I hope to refine it into something shorter, sharper.
..
I dreamed I wrote a poem in invisible ink.
I dreamed I wrote a poem dot-to-dot, with stars.
I dreamed I wrote a poem on the walls of my own heart.
I dreamed I wrote a poem in a scribble, and a song.
While the world erased, I wrote a poem in a scribble and a song.
As the sky took shape, I wrote a poem in a scribble and a song.
In my brightest tears, I wrote a poem in a scribble and a song.
It’s true, I wrote a poem in a scribble and a song.
As the sky took shape, I prayed in a scribble and a song.
As the sky took shape, I played in a scribble and a song.
As the sky took shape, we made our peace in a scribble and a song.
As the sky took shape, the world ended. In a scribble and a song.

Come play: Miz Q.
Great start. I like “poem in a scribble, and a song”
Very nice. I just ‘refined’ mine, and submitted it. I always produce a lot of workable material from Quickly’s prompts.

So glad, Misky! I haven’t submitted in several months. Need to get back at it.
