masked moon

oh, so
she’s definitely the bad guy
in this scene, sinister
in all her milky skin.

she’s been in
on it from the beginning,
crescent crook grinning
at our lunacy.

she’s a terrorist
of tides and time, but we’re
on to her just in the nick, quick
-silver scoundrel, swindler of shine.

    I love this Billie-Eilish-as-Moon/Poison-Ivy-2 poem. ❤

I enjoyed the rhythm and movement of this poem. Especially in the third stanza where you use nick after time to reverse the cliche, making the mind skip. Nicely played.
