Sunset in Wildling Wood



They gather 
in their daisy-chain crowns 
and their mudlucious feet
to drink in that golden stone 
falling. 

They clasp 
hands and stand with faces 
draped in tangerine glow
kissed only by a tower 
of shine. 

They sigh. 
That feisty moon rises. 
And the shenanigans begin.

    “to drink in that golden stone
    falling” … I have been downright giddy (and practically nude) every day, soaking it up. That is definitely the way to get “stoned” (I.e., seeking a high by tanning).
