the first stone
Sometimes, I guess there just aren’t enough rocks. – Forrest Gump thrown, it stings and things may never (ever) be the same. held, it burns and turns over in your (angry, hungry)hand. buried, it still carries all that (wait…wait…)weight. dropped, it stops. Abide (an Aubade)
Crack open that bright blue dawn and watch the sun yawn and stretch again, begin to light our f(l)ight. We raise wings and sing, abide in deeper things than the morrows and sorrows of this place. This day, we find grace in the staying. :: it’s Quadrille … Continue reading

run three, to Blue
{miles} from me to You, where (g)race flows free from every rhythmic step. where sky and lakey sea make way for more of You and less of me.
map my run
(3.some) …………….{miles} map my breath by tune of blue, my heart by sacred morning moon. map my skin with cool of breeze and scent of pine. map my soul with the misty face of morning grace.
i am 5am
the zen of all sky, no sun. first breaths, and livening of lungs. i am slow beat of heart and feet, rhythmic pull of chest. i am fast (g)race, unmetered pace, blurred face and untamed. blessed.
