Knack Smackdown
Crush these ashen shards
between your fingertips,
scatter my story
to the four winds,
scald instinct
into heated hiding.
Charm those whispering sisters
Fear and Pain
into fighting frail urges,
believing again.

AWESOME. 🙂
Oh, very nicely done. These are difficult words to keep from sounding trite, so I love the way you use them, especially naming the sisters. But my favourite is
scald instinct
into heated hiding
And thank you for the above. Sends me into the weekend with a smile.
