Rhapsody in Indigo

.

Clear the way, world.
There’s a looking glass waiting
for me, pine tree sway and lake lullaby
calling, heart falling for breezy days and
turquoise waves and laughter stirred by
sunshine and sand. Dry land limbs stretch
and smile, fins unfurl and this girl swims out
fast and far and floats awhile out at azure center
where there is nothing but silence and sky
and this:
clear blue bliss.
