Stain yourself in something
small, pinpricked and silent,
strangely unseen. You must
spill it just right in ink,
splayed loose to ebony
sky. Bright stones aligned; a
sisterhood of lost shine.

I wrote this earlier in the week, as guest host over at Creative Bloomings. Click to check out the form, called Pleiades. What a great little poetic form!
This is beautiful! “a sisterhood of lost shine.”
“Stain yourself in something” … In anything at all. Just stop sitting around being colorless, please! Love it. 🙂
