Prompted by a word list from my Shawna.
Cracking up over here about that hanging “tator.” 🙂
Love that “so li’l, o{h}” … Or maybe “So Lilo” {as in, Lilo and Stitch}.
Scrumptious title. Love “page-ant of devils” and “gathered for mass{appeal}” … and especially “appeal to her softly” (noun) and “appeal to her, softly” (adverb).
And this:
“unstrung, and saved
for later. On this whole
giant orb, she’s really nothing
but a spec”
I imagined this was about a middle schooler worried about a performance, so much so that she can’t think about the meaning of the performance but just the many ways she will make a fool of herself! And perhaps she’ll feel so much like a spectator she might freeze up!
