The Thrill of Quadrille

We come for the dance, the chance
to lull words into bubbled glee, grin
them happily into melted days.

Suppose the shimmer of a twisted
phrase, the way it skips, all bright
green breeze.

And when the word basket tips,
spill me a rose.

A second offering for the Quadrille over at dVerse
(the one in which she uses all the words given thus far.)

Somehow, this made me want to dance–but then I guess that’s what a quadrille can do, heh? Delightful.

    OH you two!! 🙂
You would never know that you had to weave all those random quadrille words together… make it look so natural, easy-peasy.

Beautifully expressed, De! I, too, am in love with the Quadrille! 🙂

  8. Love the internal rhyme and also how this expresses the love of a poem coming together. Great line: grin them happily into melted days. So much better than wordsmith!

You and Bjorn…you outdid yourselves…so beautifully and delightfully too!

Use your words.
