breathing out loud

and a pink neon cloud
(is she
on the
………………{run}
too?)
doesn’t seem to know
what to do besides hang
out, plugged in to a
rising sun. And the breath
comes hard but it comes
and the day’s already too hot
but it’s not
too bad
and the mad mad mad
slap of shoes is music
(sort of)
and maybe i am getting some
-where.

Man, I love that. Like, big time. That’s a quotable for centuries to come.

We’re still at the hospital, by the way. I can’t check email or anything. Hopefully heading home in a couple of hours. You would not believe the drama going on back home. I’ll tell you later.
